Emma turned 23 today, signalling the beginning of “chocolate cake month”.
Emma managed to found the time to share a birthday brunch with us delaying her trip to Zürich, while Mathias returned early from a weekend in the Valais to be part of the celebration, and Arthur carved out a slice of time before returning to his army obligations.
The planets were aligned to offer us a few hours of family time, shared laughs and chocolate cakes.
We are so lucky.
Not to mention how proud I am of the solidarity the swiss people (and cantons) for accepting the initiative to add a 13th monthly payment for pensioners and refusing to raise the retirement age to 66.
